I am not making a joke about any Windows 7 shutdown issues, I just don’t want the beta to expire. August 1st is a long time away, but I am not excited about going back to Vista. Hopefully they will have another beta, or just release it.
When Windows 7 expires, I will be going back to XP not Vista.

I am preparing to install Windows 7 64-bit on my D630 and was wondering if you had encountered anything that I should be aware of. Should I use Dell’s 64-bit Vista drivers from their website? Any help you could give would be appreciated…

The dell vista drivers will work with windows 7. I really did not have any issues, except with the video card. If you have the upgraded video card in the D630, you can only use the dell drivers. Windows update will push you for a new driver, but it really causes more problems.
