I really want to make my own Photosynth, but I probably need a better camera. My 6 year old Sony is really slow.

We recently bought a Tassimo single serve coffee maker at work. I was tired of the old coffee maker, because nobody would clean it. It was kind of like that episode of The Office, when nobody would clean the microwave. We almost got to the passive aggressive note stage.
We ended up getting the basic Bosch Tassimo, without the water filter. The extra $40 for the version with thes water filter, seems a little ridiculous. I don’t drink coffee, but it does make hot chocolate.
Pros –
Very little mess with the t-disks. Only the milk disks seem to leave a little residue.
Large variety of drinks it can make. Coffee, Tea, Latte, Cappuccino, and Hot Chocolate.
The Hot Chocolate is really good. It much richer than I used, so I usually water it down.
Cons –
Does not make a large cup of coffee. It seems to only half fill most “normal” sized coffee mugs.
The system is automated, but you end up watching it make the coffee

It is just a first attempt, to see it would work. I am trying to come up with a better idea for the next attempt.
I just created a Qik.com account, to see how it works. I was surprised to find out it works great. It had no problems on my home network, or over the Tmobile network. Now I just need to find a reason to use it.
I will probably win some awards for my awesome cinematography.
If you saw the IT crowd episode about FriendFace, you probably were wondering WTF was Roy playing with on the couch.
I had no clue. It looked like some kind of giant MP3 player, with dual screen visualization.
So I spent some time searching, and it turns out to be a Tenori-ON music sequencer. I was a little bummed that is was not a giant mp3 player.
They charge $999 for it, so it really is more of a toy for people that have too much money.

I am not making a joke about any Windows 7 shutdown issues, I just don’t want the beta to expire. August 1st is a long time away, but I am not excited about going back to Vista. Hopefully they will have another beta, or just release it.
When Windows 7 expires, I will be going back to XP not Vista.
One of the best holiday gifts I got this year, has to be my wireless headphones. They were purchased from an Amazon.com half price special, and used in the family gift exchange. My plan was just to pick them, instead of another gift. The plan worked perfectly.
I am not sure how I lived without these. All I had to do was plug them into my TV audio out. The sound quality is perfect, and there is no interference. When I am done, they just go on the charging stand.
Now I can watch late night movies, or video games without disturbing anybody.

My poster comes from my 2007 Halloween photo. I was a 1970’s cop.
I found out that windows 7 does not come with all of the programs you would expect. I wanted to post a video to my Facebook account, but it needed a little editing. It just needed to be trimmed a little, should not be a problem for Movie Maker. I look in the start menu, and it is not there. After a short web search, I find that it is only available as a download from live.com.
So I install the Movie Maker beta, anticipating an improved program. I am actually shocked when I first open MM, it does not look like an editing program. It takes a bit, but I figure out how to trim/crop my video . The controls are so imprecise, that I could not get the trim points right. They were about 20 seconds from the spot I needed. I was able to get my video posted, but this is the last time using MM.
I have been using my windows 7 laptop only for the last 6 days.
